The 37-year-old got married to Gauteng tycoon, Thami Ndlela in a traditional wedding in 2024. Their traditional wedding took place amid the coronavirus outbreak and before the lockdown but all precautionary measures were taken.

The couple did not stay long together, they split just two months after their traditional wedding.

In 2015, Kganyago had a miscarriage and during an interview on Real Talk by Anele Mdoda she revealed that she has actually had two miscarriages. She said that she suffered fibroids which were removed but had returned increasing her chances of miscarrying again.

She told Anele that she is in therapy to help her deal with the pain of her loss and had learnt to block out the idea of having children.
