UKZN Extends Application Closing Date 2022


The University of Kwazulu-Natal (UKZN) was set to close its applications for the 2022 academic year on 30 September 2021.

The University of Kwazulu-Natal (UKZN) has decided to extend its 2022 academic year applications until the 31st of October 2021.

The institution has shared the information through its social media platforms for those who aim to apply to study at the university.

UKZN Extends Application Closing Date 2022

Please note that late applications for Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes will be accepted until the 31st October 2021. The institution however indicated that the extension excludes international students.

The following programs are still open:

  • College of  Agriculture all programs.
  • Engineering and Science all programmes.
  • College of Humanities all programmes.
  • College of Law and Management Studies all programmes.

How to Apply UKZN Application 2022

The university indicated that there are no late applications accepted for the College of Health Sciences.

Also, If you are a currently registered UKZN student and wish to apply for a different qualification, please use the Internal Undergraduate Application Form and email it to Applications@ukzn.ac.za.

The extension will also give the matriculants who haven’t applied a chance to send their applications through.

Basic Education is expected to start the matric exams on the 27th of October 2021, an adjustment that was done to accommodate the local government elections.
